Hello you lovely lot!
It’s been another mad week or so here. I’ve finally dug and planted the allotment asparagus bed and back at home I’ve planted up kale, pak choi, lettuce, red valerian, bright lights chard, more leeks, New Zealand spinach, Achocha, mint, runner beans and Melissa. Phew!
In other news the apple tree we bought last year has just budded out and set flowers! Yay!
The other day the boyfriend was enjoying his daily coffee in the garden when he spotted this little fellow sat on the apple tree. Do you know what it is?
I’m sorry for the blur, this was as clear as I could get it!
Please do let me know if you can identify this little guy!
GG xx
No idea what that bug is. Your planting list sounds great though.

I found out! It’s a bee beetle! Possibly coming to a garden near you! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2128865/The-scary-looking-inch-long-monsters-buzzing-UKs-gardeners.html
